Just a few weeks after the acquisition of Giovanni Bona Cliniche Dentali, DentalPro, the leading group in the Italian dentistry market, has now announced the acquisition of 100% of DentaDent dental clinics group.
DentaDent, operating 7 dental centers in Milan, Bergamo, Rome, Cagliari, Florence, Genoa and Mestre, has so far treated more than 30.000 patients, with an expected turnover of 15 million Euro in 2016. By the end of the year 3 new openings are expected.
Two of the founders of DentaDent enter DentalPro group with operational roles: Gabriele Intini as development director and Angelo Riva as a member of the medical-scientific committee. Michel Cohen, founder and Chairman of DentalPro, continues to lead the integrated fast-growing group.
With the recent acquisitions, DentalPro group counts now 230.000 patients and ca. 100 active clinics, with an expected turnover of over 100 million Euro in 2016.
DentalPro has been 21% owned by VAM Investments since 2012 and has been controlled by the US private equity fund Summit Partners since April 2015.
VAM Investments is the private equity holding company founded by Marco Piana and Ennio Valerio Boccardi, focused on growth capital and buyout investments.
